I've been gathering bedroom inspiration for our upcoming move to a new apartment. I love interior designer Rémi Tessier's room for La Réserve. It's open and calm (not to mention beautiful).
I don't wear makeup often but when I want to look fancy on a night out I opt for a sleek cat eye. I was never any good at creating a perfect freehand cat eye so, when I stumbled on this video using scotch tape to create the look I thought I should give it a try. It works like a charm.
Step 1 Layer small piece of tape on eyelid at an angle.
Step 2 Layer second small piece of tape under eye at an angle.
Step 3 Fill in with eyeliner (I used a gel eyeliner).
Step 4 Remove tape and done!
I love this piece by Almir Mavignier and countless other works by the amazing Brazilian graphic designer. That's why I decided to create a room inspired by this poster. What do you think?
There's no question that I love a modern home, but when you add a bohemian twist to a modern home I think you've hit the jackpot. Neutrals mixed with a rich green + natural wood elements paired with a dark metal, yeah, that's what I like.
I just discovered a new Brazilian show brand and I'm lusting over every shoe. The brand is called Schutz and I have no idea how to pronounce it, who cares? When your shoes are that pretty I could really care less.
I would love to come home to this apartment every night; it's inviting, interesting and clean. Sergey Makhno completed this project with a light eclectic touch in mind, and I applaud him for maintaining a modern aesthetic while doing so.
