Ordered these Combination High Heel Sandals from ZARA almost a month ago, but it's been too cold to wear them until now. They're just so simple and sexy.
ZARA is seriously killing it in the shoe department.

Zoe Saldana is able to balance sexy, fashion forward, and classic all in one outfit, and that's why I admire her style. She's not very trendy but ahead of the curve and always simple - no fuss. It's also important to note that she has a ballerina body, so she can make just about anything look chic. Well done Zoe (and your stylist).
I just discovered a new Brazilian show brand and I'm lusting over every shoe. The brand is called Schutz and I have no idea how to pronounce it, who cares? When your shoes are that pretty I could really care less.

Nasty Gal launches their new high-rise denim collection in 7 colors, but I only have room for black in my closet.

This is my first fall as a New Yorker in Brooklyn and it's been quite eventful. It's snowed, rained and the winds have almost knocked me down to the ground (on multiple occasions). Even though the weather hasn't been giving me any mercy, I'm falling in love with New York.
I haven't had a Sunday off in three weeks so, yesterday Ian and I took advantage of this by exploring Brooklyn. I planned on doing some light winter shopping (boots & coat) but got seriously distracted by all of the vintage shops we kept finding. Oh well, maybe next weekend! I'm looking for a parka and some booties with laces, any suggestions? I want to know!

I paired Ian's favorite denim shirt with my favorite leggings from Zara and Michael Kors boots. That's right, it's almost boot season!(I broke mine out a little early). I need to start looking for another pair pronto, as well as my OWN Chambray shirt. The ring above is my mother's, she's got some great style. Although, I can't recall if it was a gift or something borrowed that I never returned (most likely the latter).

It's been rough, to say the least. We, of course came here in the middle of a heat wave.
We did make it up to the Brooklyn Bridge which was gorgeous. I even made an attempt at a style post, but to be honest, it's too hot for that! I threw on an eight year old dress and headed out. Right now I'm working with what I packed (not much), all of my other clothes will be here next week I hope!
Here's to hoping the heat dies down- soon.
